New Doors Open for Relics Antiques at Antiques Parlour

More than 14 years ago, Laura Martz opened Relics Antiques & Vintage Decor in Cleveland, Tenn. Every single month, during that 14 years, Laura advertised in the Busy Bee Trader with no less than two ads, and most of the time three. When Laura decided to retire and close her doors in December 2021, new doors began to open. Everyone knew Laura and her dealers shared the love of collecting, buying and selling, and they would have to find somewhere to continue their passion for sharing relics and neat finds.

Those doors did open. Owners Stan Anderson and Michael Davis at Antiques Parlour at 208 Grove Avenue in Cleveland, along with their staff, worked out a plan and began to revamp, move, adjust and squeeze in so they could make room to welcome their long-time friends and their treasures. Laura and some of your favorite dealers from Relics, Calamity Ann and Annie Q, along with Randal who has had space for over 25 years at the Parlour, all began packing and moving out of the Relics store to start their new adventure at the Parlour. The four have a large amount of show room space, and their treasures fit right in with the quality and uniquenesses you’ve already been enjoying at the Antiques Parlour.

“Quality antique showcase items, primitives, elegant, sweet vintage kitchen, and ephemeral items that you loved at Relics Antiques will all be available at the Antiques Parlour,” Laura said. “We look forward to seeing our treasured clients at the Antiques Parlour, and we are grateful for your friendships and patronage.”

Stan Anderson and Michael Davis welcome not only Laura and her dealers, but they welcome each of her clients and customers. Some of you may be customers of the Antiques Parlour; others may be planning your first visit, and Stan, Michael and the staff welcome you to visit and shop. You’re going to enjoy a one-stop experience where you’ll find all the beautiful, unique and often rare antiques and vintage finds both stores have to offer. The 14,000 square feet is filled at the Parlour, and every dealer is excited for you to visit, meet and shop with all of them. Shopping at the Antiques Parlour has always been a unique experience with it’s friendly staff and dealers welcoming you and ready to assist, and it just got even sweeter. This “honey pot” of treasures is running over and waiting for you.
