The Shoppes inside Grit & Grace

Prepare for Christmas Open House

The shoppes inside Grit & Grace Market located at 445 Church St. in Cleveland, Tenn., are beginning to stock up and stage for Christmas Open House which kicks off Friday, Nov. 5. They will be open all day Friday, and the Christmas celebration will begin 6-8 p.m., and on Saturday, Nov. 6, 10-6, and Sunday, Nov. 7, 1-6. There will be refreshments, door prizes, discounts and sales throughout the store.

Owners Brandon and Melody Miles are very appreciative of all their customers for helping them to start building a strong and successful business in the mist of a pandemic. Their small shop owners have gone the extra mile, leasing space, staging, and keeping their small shoppes filled and ready to replace with more furniture and items when pieces quickly sold.

They have added several new shoppes in 2021, including Mid Century Modern and a couple of shoppes that carry items of that era as well. They have a pet boutique and Mudpie’s & Butterflies, a boutique for the young, and there’s a unique Yoga line boutique. Don’t miss the Tennessee Fly with men’s apparel and unique fishing items. The owner of Tennessee Fly lives in Charleston, Tenn., and has numerous stores all over the Southeast. You’ll enjoy another shoppe that carries Christian apparel with tees, stickers and hats, along with many others who’ve been with them since early in 2020.

If you remember the Stuckey’s stores across Tennessee with all their delicious pecan logs and snacks? Watch for Stuckey’s items to be arriving soon to Grit & Grace Market. You’re still going to see very unique antique and vintage pieces, along with lots of beautiful lighting, including lamps and chandeliers, handmade quilts, jewelry, home decor, framed art, cabin furniture and decor, several ladies boutiques, unique glass, a kitchen shop, and several food shoppes.

There’s so much more, but you’ve got to check it out for yourself. Brandon & Melody added some new events this year; they now have spring, summer, fall and Christmas markets. These markets include approximately 70 outdoor vendors who set up to sell their goods in a beautiful tree-lined area with plenty of parking. Melody said this was a fun way to help the vendors sell their products, and introduces a lot of folks to their store who may have never been before.

The Christmas Market will be Dec. 4, and you can reserve your space when you visit their Christmas Open House. In 2022, they plan to start having classes with different artisans teaching how to paint as an art, and how to paint furniture. Also, there’ll be classes on how to macramé plant hangers and other creative classes. Be sure to follow them on Facebook for dates. The front cover will remind you of their November Christmas Open House; mark your calendar and enjoy celebrating with them.
