Til the Cows Come Home

April 29, 2016 in Editorials

As the hay barns on Mullins Farm are quickly becoming empty of winter food supplies for our beautiful Angus cattle, there is much excitement and plans are in full swing. It’s time for our annual spring Til The Cows Come Home Barn Sale! This Mothers Day weekend, May 6-7, we will host our 3rd Annual Barn Sale! On the farm, you will find talented artisans, antiques, funky stuff, shabby chic, and vintage re-purposed items. All of this, plus food, fellowship, family, friends and fun will come together for an event you don’t want to miss!

Located just two minutes off of I-40, exit 290, Mullins Farm is conveniently located and nestled between the hills of Middle Tennessee. Becca Stephenson Gernt, and her uncle, Dr. Ralph Mullins, wanted to honor the beauty and history of this family farm by sharing it with the public. With a love for antiques and local artisans, the family will once again roll up their sleeves to create a barn sale vibe like none other.

This year, our Til The Cows Come Home Family was touched by heart disease. Through this experience, we became more knowledgeable about the hard work and passion of the Mended Hearts program here at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Their love, giving spirit, and HEARTS are to care for the patient and family. They are there to walk you through this overwhelming experience, from start to finish and beyond! This year Til the Cows Come Home Barn Sale will donate a portion of our proceeds to Mended Hearts and give towards their great mission. Set your GPS for Mullins Farm, 903 S. Dry Valley Rd, Cookeville, TN 38501 on May 6-7. You know you don’t want to miss it! See you there!
