Sweet Ila Mae’s Spring Barn Sale

Sweet Ila Mae’s Spring Barn Sale will take place June 3-5 at Mae Place Farms in Quebeck, Tenn. If live music and unique-eclectic finds are your thing, Sweet Ila Mae’s is the place for you! The event has the best-of-the-best, hand-selected vendors that are unique to the area. The sisters strive to offer shoppers a unique experience. As soon as you arrive at the farm, you will be welcomed to a beautifully decorated farm scene with live music, laughter, friendship, and yummy foods. Sweet Ila Mae’s is truly a slice of heaven on earth!

Sisters, Rachel Davis & Megan Dodson, have been hosting this bi-yearly event on their family farm for the past four years. The name Sweet Ila Mae’s came from their sweet, great grandmother, Ila Mae. The girls’ father, David, inherited the farm when the sisters were teenagers. The land has been a part of the girls lives since birth. Growing up, they watched their grandparents, dad, and uncle pour their hearts and souls into the farm, raising cattle and growing corn. The girls’ dad uses the farm for his beef cattle herd year round. Rachel and Megan chose to make use of the land that is so close to their hearts quite differently by hosting the barn sale, occasional weddings, music festivals, and educational classes.

The farm is situated in the heart of Middle Tennessee, and a short drive from Rock Island State Park. It is less than 90 minutes from Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga, which help draw shoppers and vendors from across the state and beyond. Make sure to grab a big ‘ole truck and pile in as many friends and head on down to beautiful Quebeck, Tenn., the first weekend in June! Hours are: Friday, June 3, 4-8 p.m.; Saturday, June 4, 10-5 and Sunday, June 5, 12-4 p.m. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram @sweetilamaes for more event details.
