Rise & Shine Country Pickings in Decherd

Just a short trip down I-24 from the AEDC exit, is the charming town of Decherd. In recent months, Decherd has been undergoing some major changes, and one of the biggest and best so far has been the opening of Rise & Shine Country Pickings, located in Decherd town proper, at 202 E. Main, which was the home for many years of Sinclair’s Emporium. This 4,200 sq. ft. building has been totally and lovingly restored by Larry and Judy Sanson, and filled with an amazing array of antiques and collectibles!

For the Sansons, no lines have been drawn in what they offer, a plethora from A-Z, not just antique furnishings and glassware, but racing collectibles, locally canned goods, original hand-painted works by Judy, barnwood and other country collectibles, unique gifts for everyone on your list from baby to great-grandma, or grandpa! Surprisingly, this isn’t a mall, the Sansons go out and find, or make, or rebuild, or paint just about everything you find in their store. And what you find there changes every week! This wonderful store is a dream come true for the Sansons. “This is our home, says Judy, and we want everyone who comes to see us to feel like part of our family.” It is a welcoming experience, from your first step through the door!

Come on over to Franklin County and check out all the great businesses you see in our group ad, and make sure to mosey over to Rise & Shine Country Pickings to visit with Larry and Judy Sanson, enjoy a cup of coffee and a little down home conversation, and one of the best shopping experiences you’ll ever have looking for what makes you happy!

Rise & Shine Country Pickings is open Wednesday – Friday 9:30 to 6 daily with a lunch break from 1-3; and Saturday from 9:30 to 6:00. They are on Facebook, and if you want to call for more information, call Judy Sanson at 931-308-9289.
