Miss Lilli Mae’s Schoolhouse Sale

A love of beautiful things, a fantastic old schoolhouse and a desire to use her college education lead Sara Covert to get the ball rolling to organize a “barn sale” event in the majestic Viola Valley. Miss Lilli Mae’s Schoolhouse Sale is coming to fruition June 19-21, in Morrison, Tenn. Morrison is located just off of I-24, in Warren County, which is known as the Nursery Capital of the World. Warren County boasts hundreds of nurseries that grow a vast number of trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals at the foot of the Cumberland Plateau. And what better to go with remarkable plants and trees, than gorgeous hand-made and vintage items from their sale!

I have a degree in PR and marketing and I love vintage, hand-made and repurposed crafts, so organizing a sale in my community seems like the perfect fit for me and my community,” expressed Covert, sale organizer.

Miss Lilli Mae’s Schoolhouse Sale is a sale where many local artists can showcase their talents in a rare location, and enjoy an atmosphere where shoppers can enjoy not only the crafts of others, but share time with people who also enjoy unique, quirky and beautiful things. The vendors will feature items to include repurposed jewelry, vintage pillowcase dresses, handmade pillows, bath and body products, clothing of past eras and even food and sweets that will leave you more than satisfied. The vendors were selected by a jury to ensure that all items fit with the vision of those involved in organizing the sale and you will not be disappointed.

A Preview Party is being held Thursday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. with an admission of $10. On Saturday and Sunday, the hours will be 9 until 5 with free admission. So load up your friends and head to Warren County and check out the treasures at Miss Lilli Mae’s Schoolhouse Sale. For more information contact Sara Covert, 931.273.7859.
