Highland Stables in Bowling Green, Ky., is hosting their second barn sale called GypsyMoon Marketplace the weekend of Kentucky Derby May 6 and 7. With 50-plus vendors and a $23,000 sq. ft. barn, the indoor and outdoor event will give you chills with all of the excitement. This juried barn sale will consist of vendors far and wide bringing in Kentucky Proud products, items from the soul of Nashville, and northern goodness from New Jersey.

The event is rain or shine and will offer music on Friday night, May 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. by a previous NBC The Voice contestant, Grammy nominated music artist, Justin Rivers. Saturday, May 7, workshops will be offered from a local business, The Resurrection Shop and a Gallatin, Tenn., native Kyle Blankenship will provide the musical entertainment from 11-1. The event is benefiting a local Bowling Green non-profit group called Life’s Better Together that provides direct financial assistance and support to families with a child or parent battling an ongoing illness.

Sponsors for the event include Highland Stables, The Resurrection Shop, and The Purple Door Boutique. Highland Stables is a Bowling Green event venue that was built in 2000 as a fully functioning horse barn. In 2014, the heated facility was switched to an event venue that hosts multiple indoor and outdoor wedding events, corporate events, and private events throughout the year.
