Hickman County Arts & Ag Tour

The Second Annual Hickman County Arts and Ag Tour is a free self-guided tour throughout the back roads of Hickman County, featuring arts and music located at sustainable farms and much more! You can meander from Lick Creek to Totty’s Bend to Coble and Pleasantville to Pinewood and the quaint Centerville Square. You can meet an urban beekeeper, taste heritage bread baked in a wood-fired brick oven, or visit a horse rescue farm. There’s more than you can see in only two days, so you might have to come back again for more.
Some of the featured stops include a winery, a goat farm with over 400 varieties of roses, a lavender farm, live music by string quartets, blues and bluegrass, and artisans of every kind, including wood working, a unique store with vintage items, jewelry, bee products, grass-fed beef and much much more!
For example, one of the first stops coming from Nashville is Turnbull Creek Farm. Owned and operated by Kipp Krusa and wife Tallahassee May, the six-acre property is home to Kipp’s custom hand-built acoustic guitar business, Krusa Guitars. Krusa is an internationally renowned luthier who has been building custom acoustic guitars for nearly 20 years. Currently, Turnbull Creek Farm sells its certified organic produce on an online farmer’s market, Fresh Harvest, LLC., featuring small and local family farms, artisans and producers through which customers can order produce, flowers, meats, eggs, baked goods and honey for a weekly Nashville delivery or farm pick-up. It is also one of the only farms in the area that has diversified into cut flower production as well as offering floral design services for weddings and other special events.
