Henrietta’s Haul Joins The Commons in Spring Hill

July 25, 2012 in Editorials

Make plans to stop off and check out Henrietta’s Haul at 5075 Main St., Spring Hill, Tenn., as you travel between Franklin and Columbia. They are located in the vintage-style charming little shopping center, The Commons, that has Early’s Honey Stand, Authentic Southern Foods & Gifts, as its anchor.

Early’s has been a mainstay in Spring Hill since 1925, and is renowned for their honey, sorghum, country ham, sausage, bacon, turkey, chickens, ribs, barbecue, mixes, jams, preserves, sweet treats, pickled items, cheeses and other Southern foods. Today they are the biggest mail order house in the South. Visit their website at www.earlys gifts.com to learn more.

The newest addition to The Commons as of June is Henrietta’s Haul Antiques, and they offer antiques, vintage faire, collectibles and gifts. There is an eclectic mix of painted furniture, antique pieces, retro, wicker and more. They are open Monday through Saturday 10-5, Sunday 12-4, www.henriettashaul.com.

If you love barbecue and Southern food, I would highly recommend you make plans to have lunch at the Jack of Hearts BBQ, also located in The Commons. I had their tender, tasty brisket sandwich accompanied by their homemade potato salad, which I loved! It’s casual and reasonably priced, and will become a regular stop when you come to the area. I know it will be one of my top lunch destinations on my Spring Hill to Franklin route! Check out their menu and more at www.jackofheartsbbq.com/.

You’ll also enjoy shopping at Addison’s Attic Consignment Apparel and Home and Furnishings, and cigar and tobacco lovers will want to visit the Cigar Station.
