GasLamp Antiques & GasLamp Too Prepare for 2012 Holiday Party

Home to more than 300 vendors, GasLamp Antiques and GasLamp Too in Nashville have set the date for their Holiday Party as Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 to 6. The event will be held at both locations with storewide sales and hourly give-aways.
“Now that we have two locations, we have double the merchandise we had last year,” said Lauren H.Bugg, owner of the GasLamp Antique and Decorating Mall. “So, if you think you’ve seen it all, think again and come see us!” The party will be in full swing at both locations at 100 Powell Ave, Suite 200, and the new GasLamp Too location at 128 Powell Place, 37204, just 1/3 mile from the original store.
The new store offers 26,000 square feet and is now home to some familiar names from around Nashville that had closed their doors. These include Temptation Gallery, formerly in business for 42 years on 8th Avenue; Caldwell Collection, formerly in Green Hills; The Roost of Nolensville; and Nest of Edgehill Village. Retropolitan of Hillsboro Village is also joining the mix, along with Christmas Nostalgia, Jason Parker Counce with his new “Dirt” barn, dealers formerly at Harpeth Antique Mall in Franklin, Tenn., and many more. The new store is already fully rented and shoppers will love shopping the eclectic new space.
Now with more than an acre of climate-controlled shopping, GasLamp Antiques and GasLamp Too offer value with an assortment of antiques, vintage and retro furnishings, home accessories, industrial pieces and more. Named “Best Antique Mall” by the Nashville Scene Readers’ Poll every year since 2004, the GasLamp stores house an eclectic assortment of merchandise, “how-to” workshops and appraisal fairs.
