When George & Cher Boisvert-Tanley retired and bought an old Middle Tennessee farm in 1999 they had a definite goal in mind. They wanted to create a lovely place where they could escape. But they did not want to keep this special location just for themselves, they wanted to also create a getaway for others needing a break from their busy lives. So George and Cher rolled up their sleeves and went to work. And in 2004, after five years of extensive renovations, Chestnut Hill Ranch Bed & Breakfast welcomed its first guest. However, the 1905 restored Farmhouse doesn’t just offer a good night sleep in three themed rooms and gourmet breakfast to its visitors.

The charming Bed & Breakfast is also located on a 53-acre working ranch which means that guests get to share their getaway with friendly cows, mini-donkeys, ducks, chickens and even a honeybee or two. They also enjoy farm produce from the orchard, fruit butters, honey, fresh vegetables during their visit. It all works together to create a warm & welcoming experience and a chance to reconnect and rest.
