2015 Leiper’s Fork Yard Sale

The small historic village of Leiper’s Fork, Tenn., located in scenic Williamson County will be a picker’s paradise Oct. 9-11. The coordinators are expecting record numbers as vendors migrate from surrounding states and communities to set up their wares to sell at this community fund-raising event.

This anticipated sale returns to the Preston Field and begins on Oct. 9 and runs through Oct. 11. The gates will open at 8 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. each day. Although there is no admission charge, there is a $3 fee for parking in the adjoining field. The proceeds from this event are distributed to families in need, the enrichment of the community and helping other events in the village.

Don’t let the name “Yard Sale” fool you! Treasured finds will include antiques, furniture, farm tools, glassware, collectibles, flower bulbs and plants, bird houses, household appliances, jewelry, boots, handmade décor, food trucks and even fresh produce.

Pickin’ is a favorite pastime for people from all walks of life,” said Susan Whitaker, commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development. This year’s Yard Sale will surely be an unbelievable paradise for the persistent picker.

Pickers who plan to visit the Leiper’s Fork Yard Sale have many accommodations options in the area and can enjoy a mini vacation by arriving early and staying the weekend.
